At any point in our lives we may find ourselves feeling sad, depressed or anxious. These feelings may have been present for some time, perhaps over many years, or they may be brought on by a particular event or change in our lives.
It can help to share these feelings with a trained therapist.
Psychotherapy offers a safe, confidential space.
The underlying focus of psychodynamic psychotherapy is to better understand ourselves. While the reason for coming to therapy might be troubling feelings, a difficult situation or traumatic events, during therapy the scope of work opens up to include the past, this can help us to think about what is happening in the present. Reflecting on our lives - in a safe place and in our own time - it may become possible to make sense of difficult feelings, and find new ways forward for a more fulfilling life.
Psychotherapy can be helpful with:

I offer two types of psychodynamic psychotherapy:
- Open ended psychotherapy
- Time limited psychotherapy
